Amber alert for missing B.C. children cancelled

COQUITLAM, B.C. – The RCMP have cancelled an Amber Alert that was issued Friday evening for two children and their mother who went missing in Port Coquitlam, B.C.

Police said the three were located Friday night at a Sicamous gas station, in B.C.’s Shuswap region, and that all were safe.

RCMP Sergeant Annie Linteau said a 36-year-old woman was in custody with charges pending and that the two children would be reunited with their family.

She noted that the pending charges had yet to be determined.
