Police hunt for bank robbery suspect

KELOWNA – Mounties are looking for information about a man who robbed the Bernard Avenue CIBC Monday afternoon.

The man went into CIBC located at 328 Bernard Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. June 23 and demanded money from the attendant, Sgt. Wade Severson said in a press release.

The teller handed over the undisclosed amount of cash and the man left the bank. Police were called but were unable to locate him.

There were no injuries and a weapon was not apparent or reported present.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 5'8" to 5'9", average build. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
