KAMLOOPS – Eats Amore, BK Yoga, and the City of Kamloops are excited to announce Move’n’Munch this summer at Riverside Park. Move’n’Munch is a community health and wellness initiative that takes place every Friday at lunch and includes a 30 minute stretch with Bronwen from BK Yoga, followed by a tasty, healthy lunch from Eats Amore to take back to work.
The 30 minute stretch session starts at 12:15 p.m., with different levels of physical intensity to choose from, making the session accessible to all. Everyone is encouraged to bring along something to sit on, whether it be a mat, blanket, or chair (if required.) All skill levels are welcome.
When: Every Friday lunch hour until the end of August (except for July 31.)
Where: Riverside Park — the north-eastern corner, at the bottom of Third Avenue, past the roundabout, and across from Interior Savings Centre (close to the high water marks.) This location is ideal as it provides some shade on sunny days.
Cost: $12 per session — this includes the stretch session, and a small lunch from Eats Amore.
The lunch items may include healthy wraps, salads (add chicken), homemade pastas, sandwiches – the menu will change each week. An option to upsize lunch is available.
To sign up, email eats.amore@gmail.com before each Friday to place a lunch order. A commitment to the whole summer is not required, drop-ins are welcome.
