UPDATE: Kamloops teen located

RCMP say Maycen Charlton has been located safe and sound.

KAMLOOPS – RCMP are looking for help in finding a 15-year-old who has not been seen since late Tuesday afternoon.

Maycen Charlton was last seen around 5 p.m., June 23, near the 1100-block of Battle Street, Staff Sgt. Edward Preto says in a release.

The 5’5” Caucasian teen is 110 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in a black tank top with white printing on the front and jean shorts and she was wearing black sunglasses with coloured lenses.

Charlton was carrying a turquoise purse, a white and black cardigan sweater, large white headphones and a Bluenotes plastic bag.

Anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
