Okanagan about to be blasted with record heat
OKANAGAN – It’s getting hot out there. Very hot. Possibly even record-breaking hot. So grab your sunscreen and hit the beach while Mother Nature kicks off summer with a bang.
Temperatures are forecast to reach as high as 39 Celsius this weekend in the Okanagan, and Environment Canada is calling for daily highs to stay in at least the mid-30s most days over the next week. Record high temperatures range from 35 C to 39 C over the next week.
Those temperatures will combine with sunshine most days, except Monday when temperatures will drop to a high of only 32 C and will be combined with some cloud and a chance of showers.
The normal high at this time of year is 25 C in the Okanagan.
The fire danger rating high currently sits at moderate to high throughout the region with it expected to increase to extreme in some areas over the next few days.

No it isn’t, even if this was a representative sample, and it was peer reviewed. Hot summers are as invalid as evidence as cold winters are. The evidence for global climate shift is not going to be found in a single desert in Canada. It’s in the stratosphere, and the ocean, and the mountains where glaciers used to be.

I would say that’s “evidence base” for climate change!
