Recreation Penticton launches survey
The City of Penticton Recreation Department is looking to gauge residents’ thoughts on recreation facilities, programs and services in a survey being launched today.
The 12- to 15-minute survey will be conducted through phone interviews of randomly selected residents between May 22 and June 5. Residents will be asked questions to measure their satisfaction with various recreation facilities in the community, as well as what programs and services they have participated in during the past year.
Customers and residents who are interested in providing feedback are also invited to participate in the survey. An online questionnaire will be available on the City’s website at www.penticton.ca/recreation, and customers are encouraged to visit the site and complete the survey. The online survey will be open until June 15.
“We want to hear from the people of Penticton,” says Chuck Loewen, General Manager of Recreation and Facilities. “As we move forward with developing our recreation priorities, we would like to find out what programs and services are important in our community and where we should make improvements. We are also looking for feedback on how best to inform residents about what we have to offer to reach out more effectively.”
