Man on mobility scooter hit in Kamloops crosswalk

KAMLOOPS – A man on a mobility scooter was sent to hospital after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Seymour Street this morning.

An officer on scene says a tourist from Germany was crossing Seymour Street at Seventh Avenue in a marked crosswalk when he was hit. He was riding a mobility scooter at the time.

The man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The scooter does not appear to be badly damaged.

  1. That is just after Seymour street turns into a highway. Very dangerous traffic patterns there. Hope the fellow recovers OK.
