WEST KELOWNA – RCMP divers are searching the waters around the CNR wharf in Gellatly Bay but the won’t say what they are looking for or what investigation the search is tied to.
“All I can say is that it is related to an investigation,” Const. Steve McBride, the senior officer on the scene, says.
McBride referered enquiries to the RCMP’s media spokesman, Const. Steve Holmes, who was unable to provide any further details.
“If there was any information they wanted released to the public they would have told me,” Holmes says.
Meanwhile, the CNR wharf remains off limits to the public as the two-person dive team scours the area immediately around the popular dock.
More to come.
