Once again, as we head into the weekend Kelowna gas prices are on the climb.
This morning, many stations were reporting 141.9 cents per litre for regular gas, but as of an hour ago, some stations began posting 147.9. According to data collected at Gasbuddy.com, prices across the province were closer to 128.8 only a month ago.
There are a few stations still posting the lower price. The Husky at 150 Edwards Road, Esso at 3135 Gordon Drive, Esso at 3650 Hwy 97 and the Shell at 2189 Springfield Road were listed at 141.9 on Gasbuddy.com in the last hour.
The current national average is 133.1 while the average across British Columbia is 142.4. The price of a barrel of crude is currently $92.45.
