Tracey scores a pair in Canada’s 7-4 win over Switzerland at U18 worlds

UMEA, Sweden – Brayden Tracey scored two goals and added an assist as Canada defeated Switzerland 7-4 in preliminary round play at the world under-18 hockey championship.

Connor Zary, Thomas Harley, Peyton Krebs, Dylan Cozens and Dylan Holloway also scored for the Canadians, who improved to 2-0-0-0.

Elvis Schlapfer scored twice for Switzerland (0-0-1-0) while Denys Rubanik and Joel Salzgeber added singles.

The preliminary round continues through Tuesday.

The playoffs begin Thursday and medal games are set for April 28.
