Police: Man assaulted in argument over ‘Pokemon Go’

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 53-year-old Detroit-area man is in a hospital after an argument with a 33-year-old man who was playing “Pokemon Go.”

The victim was bleeding from the back of his head on a sidewalk Wednesday night in Mount Clemens. Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham tells The Macomb Daily (http://bit.ly/2aEeUWL ) that the man acknowledged making disparaging remarks about the popular game.

The younger man was charged with aggravated assault, a misdemeanour.

Wickersham doesn’t know what was said exactly, but he assumes it was “something about kids being robots” while they play in public.
