VIDEO: Is your refrigerator running? This one certainly is
KELOWNA – You know that old prank call? The one where you call up someone and ask them if their refrigerator is running? Well one man may have taken the joke a bit too seriously.
A video released on YouTube over the weekend shows a Kelowna man with a refrigerator that is most definitely running.
The video, titled Just out fer a fridge are ya bud?, was shot by user Jrocmagoo LP, who captured the bizarre moment on a dash cam at the corner of Highway 33 and Aurora Crescent in Rutland.
With the heavy appliance being pushed by one hand and a bicycle in the other the man is spotted rolling along the middle of the right lane of the highway.
“Got myself a fridge, yeah,” Jrocmagoo LP says as he passes by only to turn around when he sees a police car in his rear view mirror.
It is not clear if the police detained the man but a marked police cruiser can be seen speeding from the scene.
