Showers for the weekend in Kamloops; sunshine returns Monday

KAMLOOPS – The cool, wet weekend is a welcome break from the hot, dry weather we’ve been experiencing so far this summer.

Environment Canada is calling for showers off and on today, July 25, and Sunday with high temperatures in the low 20s Celsius.

The moist air will began moving out of the region Monday with a mix of sun and cloud in the forecast and a high of 26.

It’s back to the sunshine and more normal summertime temperatures for the rest of the week, with highs around 29 C on Tuesday and Wednesday and highs in the low 30s C Thursday and Friday.

The average high temperature at this time of year is around 29 C.
