5,700 Shania Twain tickets sell out in under five minutes

KELOWNA – Fans of Shania Twain will be disappointed to find out that tickets for her final show at Prospera Place on Oct. 27 sold out in less than five minutes last week.

Twain’s performance this fall is the last stop on what she has announced will be her last tour. Rock This Country began June 5 and approximately 5,700 tickets for the Kelowna show went up for sale July 24.

Prospera Place events manager Sean Bianchini says there is a possibility that additional tickets, and perhaps even a second show, may become available but could not say when.

“We have to gauge the interest level of the community,” he says. "And ultimately it’s up to Shania and her tour.”

Bianchini says the announcement would be made on the Prospera Facebook and Twitter as well as through SelectYourTickets.com
