KAMLOOPS – Thousands of dollars in music equipment was stolen on the weekend, but police quickly located the suspects and reunited the equipment with its owner.
Thieves broke into a vehicle early Saturday morning, Aug. 8, and stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment, according to Cpl. Cheryl Bush of Kamloops RCMP.
Bush says police identified the suspects and were able to execute a search warrant on a Lansdowne Street apartment, where they found the stolen equipment as well as four long-barrelled firearms.
Three Kamloops men will be in court today to face charges relating to firearms, theft and possession of stolen property.
Bush says the origin of the firearms is still under investigation.
