BERLIN – German police say nine British teenagers have suffered minor injuries after a 90-year-old man lost control of his car and ran head-on into a double-decker bus in the country’s Black Forest region.
Police told the dpa news agency that the man hit the bus, which was carrying 73 students between the ages 13 and 15, near the southwestern town of Voehrenbach on Monday morning. The driver of the car and one of the bus drivers suffered serious injuries in the crash.
The incident was under investigation. Police say it’s not yet clear what caused the man to veer into oncoming traffic.
