Police recover stolen goods

Kelowna Mounties got their man. Or at least their scooters.

The Kelowna RCMP Property Crime Unit searched an Ellison-area property last week and recovered three scooters, two licence plates and a flat deck trailer.

In a release today, Const. Kris Clark said officers searched a residential property on the 4800 block of Rittich Road on May 22, 2013 and discovered the stolen items. Clark didn't say what led police to that location.

The scooters were stolen from Motor Toyz earlier this month and he says police were happy to return them so quickly. The trailer was never reported stolen and an owner has yet to be confirmed but police think they know who the owner is and anticipate it will be returned to them shortly.
