The Ministry of Environment in collaboration with Interior Health, has issued a smoky skies advisory for the South Okanagan today, August 19.
The ministry advises residents to avoid strenuous outdoor activities as smoke concentrations are expected to vary widely due to winds, fire behaviour and temperature change.
