Police are conducting ballistic tests to determine how many guns were involved in a fatal shooting inside a rap concert.

Police say Friday those include an examination of a bullet removed from rapper Roland Collins’ leg.

The 30-year-old Brooklyn performer goes by the stage name Troy Ave. He was arrested on attempted murder and weapons charges. He’s still in a hospital.

Police say five 9-mm shell casings recovered at the scene belong to the same gun. They say no weapons have been recovered.

A spokeswoman for prosecutors says she doesn’t know when Collins will be arraigned. It wasn’t clear if he had a lawyer.

One person was killed and three others injured Wednesday night when shots were fired inside a Manhattan concert hall where rapper T.I. was set to perform.

A rapper who police say was seen on surveillance footage firing a gun inside a crowded New York City concert venue is facing attempted murder and weapons charges.

Police arrested 30-year-old Roland Collins on Thursday, a day after the deadly shooting at Irving Plaza, where hip-hop artist T.I. was set to perform.

Family members say the man who died, 33-year-old Ronald McPhatter, was a member of Collins’ entourage and had been there to provide security. Police say Collins suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

There were nearly 1,000 people in the venue when the shooting began late Wednesday night.

Police say one of the victims, 34-year-old Christopher Vinson, was shot in the chest on the venue’s ground level after a bullet travelled through the floor. Another bystander, 26-year-old Maggie Heckstall, was shot in the leg.
