TORONTO – Bell Canada says some of its business phone customers experienced service disruptions Thursday afternoon because of an issue with a network hardware component.
A spokesman for the telecommunications company said full service was restored by the evening, but provided no details on the extent of the problem.
The outage appears to be concentrated in Eastern Canada.
The Niagara Catholic District School Board issued a tweet earlier in the day, saying Bell had advised it that a widespread outage had prevented incoming calls to some of its schools.
