KAMLOOPS – A Kamloops CEO who faced one charge of assault has been cleared of all charges in Kamloops provincial court today, Aug. 31.
Kelly Ann Kelland, born 1962, was charged in Monte Creek in July.
Kelland is the CEO of Interior Community Services, a social services agency which provides support to families and individuals in Kamloops. Following her charges, she took a leave of absence from the agency with full support from fellow management.
Crown prosecutor Chris Balison says Kelland was cleared of her charges after the Crown office determined there was insufficient evidence to proceed with the case.
