
UPDATE: Body of missing Kamloops woman located
UPDATE: 3:49 P.M., SEPT. 1, 2015
RCMP confirm a body found in a wooded area this morning, Sept. 1, in the Juniper area is that of Lyla Brace.
3:24 P.M., AUG. 31, 2015
KAMLOOPS – RCMP are asking for help in locating a woman who was last seen Sunday evening.
Const. Jason Epp says Lyla Brace, 47, was last seen at her residence in Kamloops yesterday evening, Aug. 30.
Her family, who reported her missing, say they are "very concerned" for her wellbeing.
Brace is described as Caucasian, 5’1” tall and 115 lbs with blonde hair and brown eyes.
She is believed to be driving a black four-door 2008 Suzuki XL7, B.C. plate 775TPL.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts, or who may have seen the vehicle, are asked to call their local RCMP or the Kamloops detachment at 250-828-3000.
