KELOWNA – A pair of roadwork projects on the city’s major highways will cause some delays next week.
On both Highway 97 and Highway 33 road construction will reduce traffic to single-lane alternating traffic, according to information posted to the province’s Drive B.C. website.
Work will take place east of Hollywood Road on Highway 33 and will affect both directions of traffic. Highway 97 construction will just affect northbound traffic near Dilworth Drive and Banks Road.
Both projects are expected to take place from Sept. 7 to Sept. 10.
Active construction will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. during that time period.
Motorists are advised to consider alternative routes during those times.
