UPDATE: Kamloops teen located

RCMP say McKenna Smith has been located and is safe.

3:16 P.M., SEPT. 3, 2015

KAMLOOPS – RCMP are looking for an 18-year-old Kamloops girl who has been missing since the beginning of the month.

McKenna Smith was reported missing by her family on Sept. 1 after their last known contact with her on Facebook.

She is believed to be with a male friend, possibly driving a silver Honda Civic four-door with Alberta licence plate BPN 9992.

She may be somewhere in Alberta.

Smith is Caucasian, 5’5” tall, 126 lbs with light brown hair and brown eyes. She has a flower tattoo on her left forearm.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of McKenna Smith is urged to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS) to remain anonymous.
