STOCKHOLM – The widely anticipated Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded this year to Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad.
Mukwege is a Congolese gynecologist who specializes in the treatment of women who have been gang-raped by rebel forces.
Nadia Muradis a Yazidi Kurdish human rights activist from Iraq.
