Suspicious house fire in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – No one was hurt in an early morning house fire in West Kelowna that investigators are calling suspicious.

The fire happened Tuesday, Sept. 22, just before 5:30 a.m. on Alexander Court. No one was home at the time and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the first floor, West Kelowna fire chief Jason Brolund says in a media release.

“Investigators from the Fire Department will be working alongside the RCMP on the cause determination investigation today,” he says.
