VERNON – A Vernon woman missing for almost a week has been found safe and sound.
Susan Jane Durham was reported missing after she didn't show up for work three days in a row.
A concerned co-worker called RCMP about 5 p.m. on June 5 to tell them Durham, 58, was missing. She was last seen June 3 when she said she was going shopping. Police say she went into several stores while at the mall, but they don't know where she went from there.
The Vernon RCMP say they are happy to report that Durham has been located near Pincher Creek, Alberta where she had gone camping for a few days.
Police are thanking the public for all the calls they received concerning the missing woman.
