
Summerland pizza shop manager gets six months for sexual exploitation
PENTICTON – A Summerland man who pled guilty to sexual exploitation was sentenced in Penticton Court yesterday, Sept.30.
Pizza shop manager Josh Roberts received six months in jail and two years probation for sexual exploitation.
Crown Prosecutor Catherine Crockett was seeking "something more" than the mandatory minimum of 90 days for the offence, while defence lawyer Tyrone Duerr sought the minimum.
Roberts must also provide a DNA sample and pay a victim surcharge of $100.
