
Rash of overdoses prompts warning from Oliver and Osoyoos RCMP
PENTICTON – Osoyoos and Oliver RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance following a spike in drug overdoses in the two South Okanagan communities.
The RCMP detachments in both towns have recently become aware of a sudden increase in illicit drug overdoses taking place, according to a media release.
Police say they are conducting an investigation along with the Interior Health Authority, but as yet have been unable to confirm the cause or the type of drug being used.
Police are urging caution as the cause of the overdoses remain unknown.
