A medical emergency on an Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Kelowna Saturday.

It happened at around 9:30 a.m.

A man felt sick to his stomach and lost consciousness.

Hynes calls it a routine medical incident.

"I haven't heard if the passenger went with the ambulance for further assessment at the hospital. This type of situation isn't uncommon but our ultimate priority is for the safety of the passenger."
