A South Okanagan man will plead guilty to two assault charges later this spring.
Marcus William Sheena was in custody and appeared by video at the Penticton Provincial Court today to listen to his lawyer Michael Welsh and Crown lawyer Mallory Treddenick discuss his fate.
Welsh said Sheena, who was once on the B.C. RCMP's most-wanted list, will plead guilty to assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. The charges of aggravated assault, a second weapon assault and an assault to cause harm were dropped.
A pre-sentence report will be prepared and Sheena will be back before the court on May 22 at 11 a.m.
