Volunteers still needed for Boonstock

PENTICTON – Boonstock is still looking for volunteers to help out during the four-day festival coming to Penticton in just a few weeks.

Organizers hope to add another 150 names to their list of almost 500 volunteers already registered to lend to hand, including nurses, doctors, teachers and students.

Anyone is welcome to sign up, and are further encouraged to do so if they have hospitality experience, first aid, Serving it Right or Pro-Serve, said organizer Riley Gettens.

There are also opportunities for local businesses to get their name out during the festival by advertising in the festival program, which will be handed out to every attendee.

Volunteer applications can be found online. To learn more about specific opportunities for your local business, email Riley Gettens, director of corporate engagement, at riley@boonstock.ca.
