UPDATE: Mother and son located

UPDATE: 7:53 P.M., OCT. 23, 2015

RCMP say both Jamie Burt and her son Creston Poteet have been located and are safe and unharmed.

2:07 P.M., OCT. 23, 2015

KAMLOOPS – RCMP are asking for help in locating a mother and son last seen by family on Saturday.

Jamie Burt, 21, and her four-year-old son Creston Poteet were last seen by family on Oct. 17 and were reported missing on Oct. 22.

Burt is described as a Caucasian female, 5'5" and 115 lbs., with shoulder length blonde hair – possibly dyed purple – with hazel eyes and glasses.

No description of Poteet was provided.

It is believed they could be in a grey 2007 Pontiac G6 with B.C. license plate AT0 98B. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the pair are asked to call their local police, 250-828-3000 in Kamloops, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
