OKANAGAN – A mixed bag of weather — cloud, rain and sun — is expected in the Okanagan for the last week of October.
Environment Canada is calling for temperature highs at or just above seasonal normals of 9 Celsius throughout the region all week, with the warmest temperatures expected today, Oct. 26. Overnight lows will stay several degrees above seasonal normals of 2 C for most of the week, with only Tuesday night expected to dip down to 0 C.
In the North Okanagan, showers are expected today and then a mix of sun and cloud is expected Tuesday before cloud cover and a chance of rain moves back in on Wednesday evening. A chance of rain is currently being forecast for Halloween on Saturday as well.
The Central and South Okanagan regions will be much the same, but with just a chance of rain today. On Tuesday Sunny skies are expected over the Penticton area while Kelowna will enjoy a mix of sun and cloud. A chance of rain Wednesday night and Thursday could cool things off heading into the Halloween weekend, during which a chance of rain is also expected.
