The Latest: Blaze ravages Orange County fire station

BUENA PARK, Calif. – The Latest on a destructive fire at an Orange County fire station (all times local):

7:55 a.m.

An early morning blaze has destroyed firefighting vehicles at an Orange County fire station in Buena Park.

OC Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz says no one has been injured in the fire which broke out at 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

The blaze has destroyed a 100-foot-long aerial ladder truck, a battalion chief command SUV, a pickup truck and a swift-water rescue boat.

A fire engine was away on a call when the fire broke out.

The cause is under investigation.
