RCMP are awaiting a coroner's report after a body was found yesterday on Skeetchestn Indian Band land outside of Kamloops.
RCMP Staff Sgt. Grant Learned could not say exactly where the body was found, when or by whom, but said it was located 'near an old bridge.'
He also could not idenfity the body or a cause of death.
"We're waiting on the coroner," Learned said.
The coroner's report will help determine the cause of the death, and from there, RCMP will determine whether to proceed with an investigation.
