$3.6M worth of cocaine seized off Puerto Rico’s coast

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Federal agents have seized $3.6 million worth of cocaine off Puerto Rico’s northwest coast.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Monday that agents found 283 pounds (129 kilograms) of cocaine aboard a small wooden vessel near the town of Aguadilla.

Authorities said they detained two people found aboard the boat late Sunday.
