
Bear spray used in Sahali 7-Eleven robbery
KAMLOOPS – A lone suspect made off with cigarettes and cash after bear-spraying the clerk at 7-Eleven Tuesday morning.
A lone male robbed the 7-Eleven on Summit Drive just before 6 a.m. on Oct. 27. The male bear-sprayed the clerk and made off with cigarettes and cash.
The suspect was wearing a blue jacket, red- and blue-patterned pants, white shoes and had a bandana covering his face. He also had a black backpack.
The clerk was treated at the scene by B.C. Ambulance attendants.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

What a miserable thing to do. The clerk was just doing a job. Also, how would more police have prevented?
