PENTICTON – The driver of a car is being treated for unknown injuries after rolling her car down a ditch and into a creek shortly before noon today.
Kaleden Volunteer Fire Department chief Darlene Bailey says the woman driving the car, which landed on its roof in a creek, managed to get out herself and flagged down help once she got to Highway 3A, roughly three kilometres south of Highway 97.
It's unclear how the crash happened, though it's at a sharp corner and the roads are wet. A tow truck is on its way. Traffic is not being blocked.
Police, ambulance and the fire department are on scene.
