
Rain to fall on Remembrance Day ceremonies in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – A mix of showers, cloud and cooler temperatures is in store for Kamloops this week.
Environment Canada is calling for daily highs to be near seasonal normals of 6 Celsius most of the week, though Tuesday, Nov. 10 is expected to only reach 3 C. Overnight lows will mostly be below seasonal normals of -1 C as well, with a low of -5 C expected tonight, Nov. 9.
While temperatures should be at seasonal normals, or just a bit warmer in the morning, you will still want to dress warm and grab your umbrella for Remembrance Day ceremonies at Riverside Park. A high of 6 C is forecast for Wednesday, with a low of just 2 C expected overnight leading up to the day. Showers are also expected on Remembrance Day.
The week is expected to start with clouds but clearing in the afternoon, followed by sun on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday night showers will start and will last through Remembrance Day. Thursday and Friday we can expected cloudy skies with a chance of 30 per cent chance of showers.
