SARGENT’S PURCHASE, N.H. – Officials say two people were injured when they lost control of their snowmobile and crashed into some trees.
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department says Simone Zanini, of Champagne, Illinois, and his passenger, Frederica Botti, of Bondeno, Italy, both 23 years old, were hurt around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. Officials say the tourists’ snowmobile went off the trail and into trees near the Jefferson Notch area adjacent to Mount Washington.
The two were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
