Marijuana compassion club targeted in Kamloops armed robbery

KAMLOOPS – The serious crime unit is investigating after a North Shore business was robbed at gunpoint earlier this week.

Cpl. Cheryl Bush, a spokesperson for Kamloops RCMP, says a male entered Canadian Safe Cannabis Society at 405 Tranquille Rd. around 4:30 p.m., Nov. 17, and demanded cash along with marijuana products.

Bush says the suspect carried a sawed off shotgun but no employees on site were injured.
