A 15-year-old boy arrested March 24 for allegedly assaulting a man with a long board outside the Tranquille Road 7-11 will be charged.
Kamloops RCMP confirmed the youth will face an aggravated assault charge for his potential role in injuring a 46-year-old man who is still in hospital as a result of the incident.
Due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act legislation, the name of the accused cannot be released. The youth will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
