Kelowna Mounties investigate downtown stabbing

KELOWNA –  RCMP say a man is expected to recover after being stabbed by a woman on Leon Ave near Water St. today.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, according to spokesperson Const. Kris Clark. 

"Apparently, a verbal argument between the two precipitated the altercation," he said. "The two were known to each other from a prior relationship."

The investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
