VERNON – Four Mexican men working at a Vernon orchard who disappeared back in June have all been located, police say.
The workers were reported missing by the owner of the farm after they failed to return to work. At that time they had last been seen on June 26. They had only been in Canada for 10 days.
In August, RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk said they had traced the men to the Osoyoos area and they believed they were attempting to cross the border into the U.S.
As of today, Nov. 25, the Vernon RCMP has concluded it’s investigation, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in a release, noting all the men have been located.
No other details have been released.
