VERNON – A police incident forced the closure of a major highway today.
According to Drive B.C., what is described as a ‘police incident’ shut down Highway 97C in both directions between Huston Street and Menzies Street in Merritt Wednesday, Nov. 25.
As of 4:35 p.m., the road was back open and traffic flowing.
No further details have been released about the incident.
