Correction: Virus Outbreak-Multigenerational Families story

CHICAGO – In a story May 10, 2020, about multigenerational families, The Associated Press erroneously described the breakdown of people living in multigenerational households. Roughly 64 million people in the U.S. live in multigenerational family households, or 1 in 5 people, not 1 in 5 households. The percentages by race also apply to people, not to households.
