The Latest: More victims of ex-Uber, Lyft driver reported

ESCONDIDO, Calif. – The Latest on a former Uber and Lyft driver charged with assaulting women while on the job. (all times local):

12:30 p.m.

Police in Southern California say a 14-year-old girl and another female ridesharing customer were reportedly victimized by a man charged with assaulting several women while driving for Uber and Lyft.

Escondido police Lt. Justin Murphy said Thursday that the teen’s parent said Jeremy Vague had inappropriate contact with the girl while he was her volleyball coach in San Diego County. He had no other details.

Murphy says another woman tells authorities she was victimized when he was her Lyft driver in the beach city of Encinitas, north of San Diego.

Vague pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges involving three other women who requested rides through Uber and Lyft.
