KELOWNA – The Kasugai Sister City Association has a fundraiser planned for Sunday, Dec. 6.
Taste of Japan at the Parkinson Recreation Centre from 1 to 4 p.m. will feature a welcome from the Kelowna-Kasugai Sister City Association president and Mayor Colin Basran, performances by Yamabiko Taiko Drummers and the Japanese Children’s Choir. The event will also offer Japanese cuisine, tea, holiday bake table, Japanese games and crafts and gift basket raffle.
Admission is $2 or $5 per family at the door.
The funds will be used to continue to foster the Sister City relation with Kasugai, Japan, formed in 1981.
