Large haul of food and teddy bears collected at Blazers game

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers are pleased to announce that 2,215 bears, 653 winter accessories, 2,500 pounds of food were collected and $1,400 was raised over the weekend.

The 2,500 pounds of food collected and $1,400 will all go to the Kamloops Food Bank to help families in need in our community.

The teddy bear and winter accessory numbers are both up from last season’s numbers of 1,856 teddy bears and 497 winter accessories.

Everything collected from the weekend will be donated locally. The Kamloops Blazers would like to thank the fans for their generous contributions.
